Older Hill, Woolbedding Sussex HeartSmart Fri 18 Oct 2013

I had never heard of this place and couldn't imagine a more wondrous place. If only I was ten or twelve again and able to run, scramble and climb like I did back then. This is just like the more famous Devils Punch-bowl, only better. I will be returning to explore more and see more.

Lovely Company on this HeartSmart walk led by Fiona. Many thanks to Bruce and Peter on collecting the Sweet Chestnuts. Personally without their advice and enthusiasm I would not have been able to tell the difference between the Sweet variety and the more famous Horse Chestnuts.

The beauty of this caterpillar is fantastic compared to the moth it will soon turn into.
The national trust is working hard in this area and achieving far more than most of us would imagine.
Keep-Up-The-Good-Work.
